Seal of Civic Readiness
The Highland High School Seal of Civic Readiness can be earned by any student who shows both Civic Skills and Civic Participation as outlined in our Seal of Civic Readiness Handbook. Students who wish to be considered for this accolade should contact Mrs. Saylor no later than November of their senior year.
The most efficient way to earn the Seal of Civic Readiness is to complete a Capstone Project, which is worth four points of Civic Participation. Students interested in these projects should register for the Citizenship in Action elective course.
